As an author, I hope in time to break down barriers and stigmas associated with Mental Health Issues such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Agoraphobia and Social Anxiety. Avlene, the main character in the Novel The Story Of Jess & Aver: Giving Love A Chance depicts, a very different life than most of us live. Avlene is plagued by fears and anxiety. OCD makes it a challenge for Avlene to change her routines. This Novel shows her determination to master her fears and control her anxiety. Avlene successfully although not easy by any means succeeds in living her life on her terms.
